Toby Tyson: Founder 

Mr. Tyson has several years of experience in the pharmaceutical, laboratory and diagnostic and professional medical supply marketplace. Mr. Tyson has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific, Carefusion and Forest Pharmaceuticals.

Early in his career, he had the privilege of working with the Zig Ziglar Corporation as its Director of Sales Training and Development.

Mr. Tyson holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, a Master’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and was able to participate in a graduate level exchange program while at Southern Methodist University. He also studied at University College at Oxford University in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Tyson is married with three daughters, ages 15, 12, and four.

In addition to being a husband and father, Mr. Tyson is most proud of his community involvement, having started a nonprofit called PALs (Providing Adult Leadership), where he has mentored young men for the past 10 years. Mr. Tyson also leads many men’s bible studies and is actively involved in his church.

Brian Young: Co-Founder, Vice President 

Brian Young is the co-founder and vice president of Legacy Scientific.

Mr. Young has over 23 years of sales excellence in the professional medical device, biotech, and pharmaceutical supply markets. Mr. Young most recently spent over seven years leading a sales organization at Stryker Orthopedic, the second largest player in the orthopedic trauma space.

Prior to Stryker, Mr. Young helped launch and lead sales at a very successful Biotech start up: Axogen. Early in Mr. Young’s career, he spent 15 years with three major pharmaceutical companies in various leadership roles.

Mr. Young received a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University. Brian has been married to his best friend for over 23 years, and together they have four teenage daughters. Mr. Young is heavily involved in youth ministry and mission work thru his church.
